Independence Day is celebrated on 15 August every year. It is our national festival. On this day we remember great struggle of freedom . We also remember the sacrifices of our great freedom fighter like Mahatma Gandhi , Padit Jawaharlal Nehru etc. We celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm. On Red Fort , the national flag of India is hoisted by Prime Minister. Patriotic songs and movies are broadcasted on TV. It is one of the biggest festivals in India.
